Do this immediately
Power off if it is still on, avoid charging, do not put the phone in rice, and do not use a hair dryer on high heat. Rice can push starch into ports and does not stop corrosion.
What diagnosis covers
We inspect ports, obvious corrosion points we can access, and symptoms. Some issues are catalog-priced separately; board-level work may be “after inspection” only.
When repair is not viable
